Apace Announces Collaborative Video Editing with Adobe Creative Cloud Applications and Team Projects

Work from home with streamlined collaborative remote video editing with on-premise media and imperfect internet

Apr. 14, 2020 — Orange, CA — Apace, a leading collaborative media workflow and management software solution provider, announces its comprehensive edge-based remote video editing support for Adobe Premiere Pro® and After Effects®, using Team Projects.

Adobe Team Projects is a hosted collaboration service that allows editors and motion graphics artists to work within Adobe Premiere Pro®, After Effects®, Adobe Prelude®, and Adobe Media Encoder®. The focus of the workflow offered by Apace is to further collaborative video editing with Team Projects in Premiere Pro and After Effects to work remotely (such as from home), with users' existing media data ecosystem/storage, on premises or in the cloud. The workflow works smoothly with unstable or low bandwidth internet.

Also, given its browser-based, software-only approach the Apace solution is flexible to deploy and provides remote access from anywhere. Remote access facilitates the same collaborative services that a local user can enjoy by supporting access to an entire media collection with search, comments, cut, download, and communication between editors on the timeline inside Premiere Pro and After Effects, all within a browser.

Depending on internet connectivity, users can choose to work with raw and/or proxy through the panel of Apace tools. Apace software will manage media and project data automatically.

The workflow is optimized to fully leverage Team Projects collaboration services for local and remote users seamlessly. It can be immediately deployed with remote access in one day. The offering is SAAS based and tailored to support small and large Adobe Creative Cloud Teams and Enterprise customers.

"Given the current emergency of Covid-19, remote editing that is practical to use with users' existing on-premise media data is crucial for business and enterprises. We're here to help with a pragmatic technology and business model," said Dr. Lee Hu, President/CTO of Apace.
